    Self employed – admataz interaction design (Cape Town)

    All hats.

    I have been running my own tiny independent studio since returning to Cape Town permanently in 2003. admataz has been a succesful consultancy with a solid portfolio, working in collaboration with other design studios and directly with clients. View a full list of the admataz clients

  2. July – December 2002.

    Banner Corporation (Chelsea Harbour, London)

    PHP Programmer.

    I joined the interactive team for a four month contract to help develop a PHP-based Content Management System for Lexmark Europe. We developed an application that allowed potential resellers to register their interest on the site, and for the Lexmark telesales team to follow up and complete the registration process.

    Maverick Interface Design (Long Street, Cape Town)

    CD ROM and Web Developer.

    I worked at Maverick for a year as lead developer on several corporate projects.

  4. January 2001 &ndash March 2001.

    Solution Dynamix (Kenilworth, Cape Town)

    Web Interface Developer.

    I was hired to design and develop the public interface to a web application called transfusion. The application was aimed to help streamline the South African freight trucking network by matching registered containers, routes and trucks.

  5. July – September 2000 & March – May 1999.

    Rufus Leonard (Farringdon, London)

    Web Developer.

    I worked at Rufus Leonard once and I liked it so much I went back again for a second contract. I developed the client side JavaScript functionality for car configurator on thesmart.co.uk. The site later won some awards. (See here for details)

    The Team (Putney, London)

    Web Developer.

    I helped in the development of a Cable & Wireless pension fund website, complete with JavaScript pension calculator.

  7. July – October 1999.

    Organic (Queen's Park, London)

    "Content Engineer".

    Organic was a great experience. Great people and great energy. We developed Daimler Chrysler's six European presence websites. We hardly ever slept. They gave me an Organic sweater and some plastic fruit when I finished.

    Grey Interactive (Soho, London)

    Web Developer.

    At Grey I worked on integrating a database-driven online university syllabus with an HTML and Flash interface.

  9. November – December 1998

    Trans-World International (Chiswick, London)

    Site Builder.

    Created site pages for the PGA European tour.

  10. September – November 1998.

    Carlton Online (Grt Titchfield St, London)

    Site Builder.

    Developed the HTML interfaces for Jamba.co.uk, and online games site, and SimplyFood.co.za, a website full of recipes.

  11. August – September 1998.

    Module Interactive (Covent Garden, London)

    Site Builder

    General site maintenance for existing websites.

  12. December 1997 – August 1998.

    electronic Telegraph (Canary Wharf, London)

    Site Builder.

    Developed the HTML for a number of Telegraph online publications, including the Telegraph website for World Cup 98.
